Each candidate’s scores are totaled and the highest performers move on to the next stage: evaluation by a Blue Ribbon Panel. Established authorities will evaluate candidates who work in the same practice area, addressing nuances the numerical ratings of the previous step may not be able to fully encompass. Finally, the Super Lawyers® research team uses all this data to make their final selections.
Fewer than 5% of attorneys from each state are included in the final Super Lawyers® selections. Before publication, the Super Lawyers® team double-checks that each listee is current on their certifications and in good standing with the state bar.
